Marjorie M. Andresen lived in El Paso. Texas, a vibrant, international city which she loved. As a teenager she wrote poetry, some of which was published. She worked for the Department of Defense in Washington. D.C. and also for the Department of Justice for a short time. Later she had a brief career in advertising, display, and as a copywriter which was cut short by marriage. Since she married an Air Force Chaplain, she was able to visit many countries and travel all over the world with him and with their two children. She has always enjoyed writing. Her first book was “Down a Crooked Way”, a thriller about art smugglers. Several of her poems were publish, the most notable winning third place in a national contest.
